My mom, a 70 years old lady has been living in Eaves West Valley by herself for over 2 years. She can only speak limited/broken English but all the office staffs and maintenance technicians have been very kind and helpful to an old lady when there is an issue comes up to her apartment.
I want to especially give a shout-out to Robert N. for being a very patient, responsible and responsive staff member who would go an extra mile to take care of my mom’s need and explain to her. My mom trusts Robert and always want to see if Robert is available when she encounters something she will need to talk to an office staff.

charging insanely high move-out fees based on fabricated 'estimate' (see picture) even though we completely cleaned the apt. $540 for carpet cleaning for 1-bedroom!!?? there is no damage on the carpet beyond normal wear and tear and i had no pet.
my car got hit and run in the garage by other resident and paid $1000+ to fix it.
there are some guys smoke marijuana in the parking lot everyday.
my car plate was STOLEN in the garage.
my laundry even got STOLEN in the laundry room!
I lived there for ~3 yrs and witnessed it getting worse and worse. I would not ever recommend this place at its current state to anyone, so disappointed
Just moved here about two weeks ago. So far, this place has everything I’ve been looking for. They have laundry facilities, a gym, and maintenance that can come and fix things around your apartment. I needed the filter changed for the AC in my unit and William came in and fixed it right away. They were also able to replace a broken part in the fridge. Robert has been very helpful throughout my moving process and responds to emails quickly. Overall, this place has met my expectations and would definitely recommend to friends.
Used to live here a little over 7 years ago. Was checking it out to see if it was a viable option & was absolutely shocked at how bad the property is now. Walking around, every area that used to have grass is brown. People are hoarding on their balconies. The property smelled like urine everywhere I walked. No wonder they're having insect infestation problems. Walkway lights were broken. Absolutely aberrant. When Oakwood owned the property, it was well taken care of & was considered luxury. I would not ever recommend this property in the current state to anyone, which is so sad.
You need to have a lot of patience to live here!
There's active construction, stray dogs, and children running around unsupervised, it's an accident waiting to happen. Don't move here if you don't want the responsibility of having to take care of someone else's kid. When complaints are made to the front about children running around the halls, pools, parking garage, trash chutes, gym, and lobby playing tag and destroying property, they simply reply "If we don't know the unit they live in, we can't do anything about it.
Robert at the administration building is the man! Since the first day I rolled in from Arizona with my cat in hand, he's done nothing but help me out in a timely manner. A state change is quite the ordeal and I appreciate Robert and the admin crew for helping me anyway they can. Also want to throw a shout out to the maintenance crew, who always resolved any issue I had within the same day I created a service ticket.
Nothing but positive things so far from this place. Robert was super helpful in getting me situated. The gym has what you need, and the pool/hot tub is nice.
Don’t ever rent from this place. We left our home spotless clean and they still deducted $500 from our deposit. They don’t even properly maintain the facilities as all the grass on the complex is dead except for what’s by the pool. Things …
